Kettlebell Update

I take a weekly kettlebell class. My new favorite part of the workout is when we do ten jerks (a lift above the head) and then move up in weight. We keep doing ten jerks on each arm until we max out on our weight capacity. Here you can see the kettlebells laid out in order of weight.  Starting with pink to red they are 8 kg, 12 kg, 16kg, 20kg, 24 kg and 32 kg.
A couple weeks ago I could only do 5 jerks with the 20kg. This week I did a full ten on each arm with the 20kg and then did 4 on the right arm and 3 on the left arm with the 24 kg. Here I am below struggling with the 24 kg. It is so exciting to see improvement!

If you are wondering about the Vagisil in the photo above...it is a funny class joke. I don't really remember how it got started. But the person who is the worst whiner during class gets the award. i.e. they get their picture taken with the Vagisil and Brad posts it on Facebook.
