I am done Christmas shopping. If I don't have it for you now, you're not getting it from me! Harrumph! (PS don't worry...what I got you is cool and *might* be from Prague or Village Books in Bellingham or maybe even Target...anyhow, I promise, you will like it!)
I am done shopping except for groceries and other necessities until AFTER the new year.
Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike shopping especially during the holidays? I went to Target not once, but twice, today (I forgot something and decided it was worth going back and getting it over with today). I went at 1 pm and then at 9:30 pm. At 1pm the parking lot was jammed pack and totally gave me an anxiety attack just looking at the lot. At 9:30 pm it was nearly empty.
I have decided that the positive thing about working nights and being up at weird hours on my days off is that shopping at 9:30 pm for me is like shopping at 4:30 pm for 'normal' daytime people. And it is so much better because there is practically no one in the store at that time. So I am really glad this year that I have a car and can do errands at stress free times.
