Czech beer is well known and popular. That is because it is good beer and because it can be exported!
If fresh Czech bread could be exported it would be popular, too. I miss the Czech grocery stores that sell fresh bread all day long. You can nearly always enjoy the smell of freshly baked bread in the stores there. Either rolls or loaves, it is good, hearty, solid, fantastic tasting bread. It is also cheap and affordable. It isn't labeled 'artisan bread', just 'bread', which is as it should be! And sadly, nothing, I mean NOTHING, in the entire United States can compare to Czech bread.
Please don't tell me to try and learn to make it myself. That would be nearly impossible as we don't have the same kind of flour they do.
Next time you're out, stop by the Czech Republic and have some! You won't be sorry! At least not until you get home and realize what you've been living without!
